DJ Solin, also known, to most of his friends and family members as Felipe Morales, was born in a small city called Atlixco in the state of Puebla, Mexico. At the age of 8, Solin's parents decided to migrate to the United States of America in search of a "better" life.

Solin's dad, brought from Mexico that industrious, entrepreneur mindset with him. He, Solin's dad, had always wanted to have his own mobile discoteque business, but because of lack of funds, was unable to build it in their hometown. After living in the US for about five years, Solin's dad made a purchase that would forever change the life of his son, Felipe DJ SOLIN Morales. A RADIOSHACK 4 Mono Channel mixer was the first item that brought out the itch onto DJ Solin's finger tips.

A mixer here, some speakers there and many other components began to build the equipment that would shape their future. Every item they bought, was like adding oxygen to the fire of their burning desire to be the best "Sonido" in the area. Booking parties amongst their friends and acquaintances was a usual weekend gig for the Morales'. As time progressed, Solin felt that he needed something else, he needed to have the feel of total control. He needed vinyl in his life. After the constant "nag" to his parents of getting turn tables, they drove to a place that sold records in the city of Montebello. That place was called EXODUS RECORDS. $400 dollars worth of vinyl later, they decided to leave the shop.

Solin was super excited at the fact that they now had vinyl. There was a small set back though, there was nothing to play these records on. That same weekend they headed out to Hollywood's infamous, Guitar Center. There they decided to pick up a pair of Technics SL-1200 MK2. Through the end of junior high and all through high school, Solin's name and the Sonido's name grew to be well known amongst all of the friends and acquaintances in the Los Angeles county.

Toward the end of Solin's high school career, Solin met his high school sweetheart, who would eventually come to be his wife and daughter's mother. Solin had different priorities now that he was a family man, so DJing was at the last of his list. As it turns out, things don't always end up like a Disney's fairy tale, Happily-Ever-After. And after 14 years of matrimony, Solin and his wife, decide to part their own ways.

Even though DJing was the last of Solin's priorities, it still remain in his mind.body.heart.soul. It was like adding water to an almost dying flower; the itch to be in the DJing business had been revived now that Solin's daughter was old enough and he was now out living a single lifestyle again! But this time, Solin did not only wanted to be a DJ. He understood that he eventually wanted to retire and live a prosperous life down the near future. So he began to explore the Marketing, Promotions, Event Planning and Talent Management industry!

Currently, Felipe DJ Solin Morales is on the verge of launching his own company. He is currently working alongside club owners, DJs in Hollywood, renowned promoters and overall, people that are in the Nightlife industry.
